Jose Recio is a Physician Associate at South Texas Bone and Joint, primarily working with hand and upper extremity patients alongside Dr. Ryan Thomas, our fellowship-trained hand and upper extremity surgeon. Recio graduated from Del Mar College with an associates in Liberal Arts, and Surgical Technology Studies. He acquired his BS in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Medical Branch-Galveston. His work experience includes working in Internal Medicine from 2001-2004 and working as a PA with South Texas Bone and Joint since 2004. Recio is also a Fellow Member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
