Leah Alley was born and raised in Corpus Christi, TX. Her initial interest in the Physical Therapy field arose after a high school injury playing basketball that led her to experience PT for herself. She had been involved in sports most of her life and therefore immediately enjoyed the environment and the concept of using exercise to help others recover from injury. She went on to attend Texas A&M Corpus Christi and graduated with a Bachelor of Kinesiology in Pre-Allied Health in 2017. Leah then attended Del Mar College and graduated with her Associate in Applied Science, Physical Therapist Assistant in 2022 where she also received the outstanding student PTA award for all her academic achievements. Throughout the program, she participated in a number of community service opportunities, such as the heart and breast cancer walk, and gained knowledge through both her didactic coursework and clinical rotations. Leah continues to prioritize exercise and movement in her daily life and is ready to promote the same lifestyle in her patients to regain function and reach future goals
